Thrilling , Exciting and Adventurous Chimney Climb Trek to Padargad fort

We at Bhramanti365 has arranged thrilling, chimney climb trek to Padargad

Situated at the backdrop of Bhimashankar; Padargad is a small fort with almost no ruins but just few water tanks and caves. To reach the top of Padargad one has to cross a few rock patches and a chimney climb which makes it the most thrilling experience. Once you reach a top you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire bhimashankar range. One can see Siddhagad, Kothligad (Peth) and Bhimashankar from here.

The exact history of Padargad is not available. It was however used to keep an eye on the Peth/ Kothaligad region. Also this was used to monitor the movement from Karjat to Bhimshankar via Ganesh ghat. The height of the fort is 2202 ft / 671 m above sea level.

The things to enjoy on the fort are:

• 5 caves
• 7 water tanks / cisterns
• Rock cut stairs
• Chimney climbing
• Lots of forts visible – Bhimashankar, Nagphani, Siddhagad, Peth, Jambrung, Khetoba, Tungi.
  • Schedule for the Event –Meeting point at Karjat Railway station on Saturday nightDay 1: Saturday  at Karjat Railway station at 10:00 PM10.30 pm: Move to Khandas in tumtums11.30 pm: Start trek to Padargad via Khandas (Shidhi Ghat)01.30 am:  At the base of Padargad – Padarwadi (Rest till Morning at Padarwadi)

    06:30 am: Wake up call, freshen up and Breakfast

    08:00 am: Start trek to Padargad

    01:30 pm: Reach Padarwadi

    02:30 pm: start descend to Karjat

    05:30 pm: Reach Karjat station (Tentatively)

    Trek will end at Karjat Railway station.

  Itinerary & Mandatory Things to Carry: –
  Good Trekking Shoes, Pair of Clothes, Water 2 litres, light bedding for sleeping, Socks , Cap, Sunscreen , scarf for ladies , Gold and precious things carry on your own risk , Camera and other electronics carry on your own responsibility ( if lost we are not responsible)

  No mess with Villagers – If found will be discarded on the spot , this trek is not meant for the first timers as it is technical event

  Rules & Regulations:

  No Littering Policy: Participants are requested to carry their own waste back to home or to the railway Station to dispose in the Dustbins.

  Smoking and Alcohol Prohibited: Smoking and Consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited on the Event.

  Group Policy: One has to Strictly follow the Group Policy … Not to be Deviated from the Group without the Leader Permissions, In case of any Injury , Accident, Death or Loss of Baggage Bhramanti365 Group and it’s instructors, organizers, shall not be responsible in any manner for the Casualty Occurred and no interference of the parents, guardians of participants will be entertained.

  Note: – Adventure Activities are Organized considering the Favourable conditions of Nature and Atmosphere.. Where Safety comes first.
